| SHIT SHIT SHIT what a horrible race for me. Off my pace in qualifying, unable to find a spot for a clean lap, then game starts crashing and rebooting PC. To top it all, at the start I have computer lag and touch Vincent Beretta before 1st corner, then go out and stall the engine . Sorry Vincent, I'm as ashamed as furious at this all. Please accept my apologizes. I'm done with these cars, I never liked them but they also don't seem to work well in my PC | |

| Crashed from 2nd on lap 7, catching Vincent (albeit in a car much faster than the March). Gutted | |

| COULDn't get in for qualy, just refuse to let me in
in race, was ok, a bit of lag and then little by little it started to get worse, about a steady 60-70 fps first 5 laps, 45-50 fps lap 5 to 8 , 40 fps on lap 9 and then just rfactor stopped altogether.
I have used this track before and was not problem , but server was running a med to low graphics settings to ease the load, it could be the mod that demands a bit too much.

| DNF but led my first laps in a "real" race. I should have laid back a little and maybe gotten my 1st top 5 but did not and slid off and hit a wall pretty hard. Car would not drive staright so I retired to prevent taking anyone out.
Great race, thanks again Gui/HSO.

| Well I'm happy to see that I did not cause you any severe damage ... I'm relieved. But all the training hours put into this sim to end in the first turn is not my idea of fun. Even if I had not suffered that incident, I doubt much that I could stay on the track even half the length of a normal race, so I give up this mod. Looks like next year I won't be racing here on sundays EDIT: Just looked at the statistics ... 7 finishers from 24 starters | |

| Was going great managed to get myself into 5th at one point but then a small mistake i lose my front wing pitted and rejoined 2nd to last worked my way back up to 7th ... Was great fun at the start but toward the end i just tried to catch Abat in the Ligier he had a good race pace i got to within 11 seconds and then forgot to brake at the end of the long straight so strolled home for 7th place ... If that had been a championship race it would have made for an interesting top 6 .. Well Done Vincent ... Well Done Lorenzo ... Well Done Richard nice 1st Podium Congrats all finishers .. | |

| I have to check the replay because i rammed someone HARD on the end of the backstraight in the first lap. Sorry for that, it was a totally idiotic mistake It took me quite a bit of work to become confortable in the Ligier, seeing Guillaume in the 1:26s while i barely scratched the 1:31s wasn´t pretty. Finally managed to be "only" 2s slower than him Good enough for a mid-pack start. It looks like times are more equalized in race trim, the differences in the grid were much less pronounced than in qualy. Started quite good (i totally forgot to practice some starts an was a bit nervous about that) but things got busy in the first turns, someone hit me in the rear and ended in the gravel with a couple more cars. Rejoined last and then came the aforementioned stupid mistake in the back straight. Lost the nosecone and had to pit for repairs. Not the best start, but i was totally determined to make the damn 30 laps and started to push as hard as i could. I got in a comfortable rythm and started to pick some stragglers. Meanwhile people were dropping like flies, don´t know if it was due to accidents or other issues but i was constantly gaining positions. Avoided any major mistakes ( i knew by experience the most dangerous places ) and finished a really good sixth considering the circunstances. Managed to beat my personal best in qualy and race trim just to put the icing on the cake. | |

Quel plaisir d'être au volant. alberto, that's ridiculous. you just need a couple of races to acclimatate. | |

|

Will it be possible to race tomorrow with qualy tyres?
I don't think anybody has ever tried a 10 stops strategy, but you can try it.
"Challenge accepted!" was my first thought when I saw your post, but I decided to be reasonable and it was the right call. In qualy I posted a laptime 0,1s slower than my PB, so I was satisfied with P9 on the grid. At the start I was extremely careful, didn't pushed at all and tried to avoid any contact in the first 5 ou 6 corners. At the end of the long straight I was 8th, but missed the braking point and dropped to 16th. After that I just tried to set consistent laptimes, without pushing too much, as I didn't had much time to practice in the last few days. Had some great battles climbing up the field, only loosing a position to Lorenzo, who was on a super fast pace. Finishing 4th was a very good reward for my consistency, as my pace wasn't very fast. My impression is that these cars require a very different driving style than the GT's or the 1979 F1 cars, and it takes some time to get used to these 1991 beasts. I also think that in the first corners of the race everyone should try above all to avoid any contact with other drivers, more than taking risks trying to pass the driver in front. I know this doesn't seem to match what racing is all about, but if I am fast enough, I will have the remaing 29 and a half laps to pass the other driver. Please do not forget that this isn't a criticism. I am not pointing any fingers here. I just understand the frustration of those who get caught in a incident, as I understand the frustation of who causes involuntarily contact. I really enjoyed this race! Looking forward to race in next year's championship! Thank you Gui and all HSO staff!
