Don't know if this will be fun, but it will definately be challenging, 70 laps here is almost 2h30min of racing.

i'm having the fun of my life, but I don't think I'm quite up to the challenge in terms of speed. Is the Mustang that bad, or have I just lost my ability to setup a car???? Anyways, Just want to have fun

No its not that bad It is capable of low 2'03s that's for sure.
The track is tough to learn

Are you joking us? 2.30 hours with these on such a twisty track? Wasn't there any shorter race on a friendlier track in all the TRANSAM schedule? I want my money back

2,30h means we're gonna melt our tires and dry our tanks. Is it necessary to pit in this kind of race?

Yes, at least one pitstop for everybody. No pitlane speed limit.

In pure TRANSAM style I will pit for fuel, tires and beer each 1/2 hour

You should have time for a smoke as well.
