On GPL I always used the cockpit view, but in rFactor I never use it. Firstly because I never got used to most cockpits in rFactor, I find them ugly and non-immersive and I'm lost without moving arms as we have in GPL ^^ . Also the default cockpit view is always seated too low, so you have to tweak it up, and you end up like if your driver was sitting on two phone books in his car which is the real heresy :D ! And finally I must I confess that being a single-seater born driver I can't drive if I'm not seated in the center of the car Embarassed :aie: . So I always use the TV Cockpit view I think it's called, the one with the camera behind the driver's helmet.

Pas mieux. :top: :D

:D I do not have the slighest interest for real cars except old racing cars Smile . I haven't driven a car in years, and as a matter of fact last time I checked I did not have a driving license anyway ^^

Shocked

So you go around with public transportation and bicycle? Or are you simply permanently locked at home crying in pain for the 70s and 80s having gone forever lol!

Question preferences camera when driving on a virtual machine always raises the interesting debate! I will not hide, that in him lies the desire to put some into the cockpit! Whatever it is, it is the most realistic from the possible options. I was also surprised that Frank says about the cockpit by default. But the position of the camera in the cockpit is regulated as you want! Therefore, in a convenient position to pick up quite easily! In the view of the TCL of course good. But not with my meager experience to give other advice! I thank all who participated in a conversation on this subject!
P.S And in the future I would like something like this:
