Well, it was an interesting experience... Smile . The most obvious conclusion to be drawn from it is that there is not enough interest among our current members to make it a viable league Sad .

The next scheduled race is a 100-lapper on the Michigan super-speedway, i.e. a 2h20mins race - something you don't want to do unless you are at least 20/25 starting. With the very low turnouts we had since the Septembre reprise I don't see how we can reach half this minimum number... So that's it, let's call it a day rather than keep on having so poorly attended races Smile .

Many thanks to those who stuck to the series, I'm particularly sorry for Carlo, JP, Vincent, Ben, Eric, Thomas and all those who were fully committed to it and deserved better than this abrupt ending Sad .

Too bad most of the guys who don't show up don't even have the respect to say why, or to retire...

Anyway thanks Frank for this champ, I only made three races but i had a lot of fun Wink

oooh!! I'm very disappointed.

I have discovered with this champ how amazing can be oval races, and now I need to race on this kind of circuits. Doesn't mater if in the future will be on open Wheel, Nascar or Truck type, or anything else... but I'm in love to turn only at left like a crazy dog...

Thanks Frank to have proposed this champ. I hope better chances on a next edition.

Yes I agree with you Luis, I knew from the begining the mod would be a problem. :smil20:
Lets hope something better will be released one day or another, because yes, oval racing is fun. Smile

I Really enjoyed the small ovals on dirt they where Great fun ... Wink

And it was very surprising how quickly 100 laps on a small oval would go
but without the numbers to fill the field i think its the correct descision to end it :smil20:

I just noticed this post. My schedule had changed so I would miss a few races but I am(was) coming back. Sorry to see the low turnout. It was crazy fun while it lasted.

Paul

I never got accustomed with the mod, especially on dirt tracks. The last race was frustrating, because of too few drivers and my poor performance.

I think it is the right decision to cancel this championship.

Anyway, Frank, thank you for organizing it .
